I'm 22, married, and a minarchist libertarian. If you don't like what I have to say, then you're more than welcome to hop your ass right off my page. I'd say thanks for stopping by, but I really don't care.

…you might be a liberal.
This artist is an idiot. The issue at stake is not the government forcing birth control on women or Catholic institutions forcing women not to take it, but the government forcing Catholic insitutions to provide insurance that covers it. If you don’t like the church’s policy, work elsewhere. The church DOES have freedom of religion, too, so religious institutions against the use of birth control should be allowed to opt out of providing insurance that covers the cost of it.

A bunch of people are upset because the Catholic church objected to the mandate to provide health insurance that covers contraception. Boo-fucking-hoo. Everyone knows the church is against the use of it, so if you want health insurance that covers it, look elsewhere. It’d be like if I went to work for an Atheist organization, but expected days off for religious obligations. They’d give me a big “Fuck You” and say no. If you don’t like the beliefs of a certain group, don’t work for them. All the pro-aborts are all, “Don’t like abortions? Don’t get one!” So take a taste of your own medicine instead of trying to force a church to go against it’s beliefs.
So what if 90% of Catholic women use birth control? That 90% of women don’t speak as the head of Catholic organizations. The leaders of the Catholic church are celibate men and women who live as best they can and set an example for the community.
Don’t like that the Catholic church is opposed to providing insurance coverage of contraception? Don’t work for their schools or hospitals.
